In the creative arts and scientific literature, an acknowledgment (also spelled acknowledgement) is an expression of gratitude for assistance in creating a literary or artistic work. Receiving credit by way of acknowledgment rather than authorship indicates that the person or organization did not have a direct hand in producing the work in question, but may have contributed funding, criticism, or encouragement to the author(s). Various schemes exist for classifying acknowledgments; Giles & Councill (2004) give the following six categories:

In general, I'd conclude that humanity is the species that self-expresses, and art is one of our forms of self-expression. I concur with John Dewey in the ultimate value of art. The artist uses the medium to try to recreate or suggest rhythms of safety and danger (harmony-dissonance/symme try-imbalance/climax-deno uement) that reflect the more memorable, valued, cherished moments of her/his own life. The audience responds to those rhythms as they might relate to similar memorable/cherished/value d moments in their lives. Q. My name is prince and next year i will be going to university. I chose to go to one of these universities. I want to do architecture there but I'm not sure which uni is better for it and I want to know which city is better for the night life e.g. going into clubs and all that. I go to Kent Uni and have a couple of friends studying architecture and they seem to absolutely love their course. I don't really ask them much about it tbh...but they're happy. & it's a fab uni! There is only one club on campus, but there are 5 other bars...and each have their own special night that they go a bit bar style/clubby for. As for town, there are two most popular bars 'The Works' and 'Chill' and there's a bar called 'Penny Theatre' that everyone LOVES (I've not been yet) because it's so cheap. So obv, I'm gonna say come to kent :D. however, if you're from the north...don't come for the nightlife lol. Prices are such a contrast. I'm from the north, was expecting 1 drinks...
