Why do women refuse to acknowledge sexism against men?
Q. It seems whenever there is something that they even think would be sexism against women, they start screaming, but they don't ever seem to care or even acknowledge all the discrimination against men (The Selective Service laws, men are forced to sign up, Affirmative Action, Title XI, women getting more lenient jail sentences, biased family courts, biased assault laws, VAWA, gender based scholarships, reproductive rights and all sorts of other double standards) It seems when something is beneficial to women but detrimental to men, no one cares. What's up with that?

A. Not all women refuse to acknowledge this. Many women recognize sexism against men. Some do not agree with it. Others do. Personally, I believe in respect. I do not believe in equality. Not even identical twins are equal with one another. Hence men and women cannot be equal in the same sense that 2+2=4 and always equals 4. People just aren't made like that. We can have mutual respect. We can treat each other the same. But the idea that everyone is the same is false. We are all different. No equality. Anyone saying we are equal is either mistaken or a liar. Edit: I never said it was okay to discriminate. Read the answer. It is in simple English.

why do unhappy adoptees refuse to acknowledge the good adoption stories?
Q. I do understand that not all adoptees are happy, or were blessed with perfect parents (I was one of the lucky, blessed ones). However, dear ones, the coin flips both ways. While some of you were not better off and were given less than ideal adoptive parents why can you not acknowledge that your stories are not the only ones to be told. Some adoptees, many adoptees, are better off. Period.

A. I don't think that you are seeing the whole picture. I don't think that those who have had bad experiences think that all have had bad ones. But most people can only go by the experiences they have had. There are many on here who will tell you that they had a good adoption experience and good parents but they still don't agree with adoption. There is a difference. I don't feel bad about my adoption I had good parents not perfect as no parent is perfect. Every parent makes mistakes in raising their children. But on the other hand of that I also was adopted the first time by a couple who the woman abused me terribly she did horrible things to me and my brothers, but mostly to me. I'm getting married in October and would like to acknowledge my deceased mother?
Q. She passed away 17years ago and my Dad is re-married so my stepmum will be at the top table etc so unsure how i can acknowledge my Mum, any ideas?

A. Do you plan to do a program for your wedding? If so you could put something in there just for her. Other ideas a memorial candle A bouquet charm or buckle around your bouquet that has a picture of her in it. (I'm doing this for my dad who died 6 years ago).
