I've been thinking about getting a second degree with something related to creative, or illustrative arts. I'm from Canada, and was hoping to get out into the world and try Australia. I would like some advice on some Australian Universities, or maybe more affordable options. Many thanks, all. Asked by Lomy - Thu Aug 21 00:48:33 2008 - - 1 Answers - 0 Comments A. As far as I know, Australian universities gouge foreign students with their fees. Last I heard it was more than $10k per year. Q. I am involved in many arts organizations in my hometown; many of these organizations are struggling to keep financially ahead. Asked by Leelee - Tue May 23 15:26:18 2006 - - 3 Answers - 0 Comments A. How about acting workshops over the summer; small theatre performances in a small local mall (put out membership fliers and donation boxes); offer to perform at local schools~find shows that fit with the curriculum and provide teacher guides~; Halloween is a great time to put together haunted houses used theatre talents; sell cool theatre shirts with your season printed on the back; live & silent auctions; dinner theatre; yard-sale old costumes; bake sale; sell memberships for discounts on tickets; offer to work corporate picnics~serve food, man rides and games, face painting for employees; and, of course, grants are always the best route. (We raised $3000 doing a corporate picnic~) Answered by soplaw2001 - Tue May 23 15:30:20 2006 From Yahoo Answer Search: "creative arts" |
